Really busy though this week is supposed to be holidays. Last week, I was appointed the logistics director of PA. I guess I will have to put in some effort in that post to prevent Gary from being overworked =P Thanks to those who elected for me though I do not have any experience in this field. I will try my best whenever I can help =)

 

I also went for Xiao Jing shalet too. Must thank her for organising the event. I believe it was a great gathering for our orientation group after a while. Too bad I couldnt come on the 2nd day cos I really wasnt feeling very well by then. Think I was too tired after playing so much majong. Haha.

 

I also participated in a DOTA competition organised by NUSEG. As usual, Kelvin was so nice and so polite. Thank him for organising that. I requested for my brother to play and sure enough, we emerged champion and though the prize was just about $10 for each person + membership + magazine + mouse pad only, we did have fun and won back our title!!! I guess winning the pride was the most important aim of my participation in that competition. Haha.

 

Also went for a K-box with Gary, Chee, Xav, Xiao Tian. Enjoyed a lot. Also realise that songs do actually mean a lot if you decipher them! Shortly after, I played basketball with my other group of friends. It was then also that I found out that there were some conflicts within "my soccer group." I guess I will enquire more before I draw any conclusions as to who is right or who is wrong ><

 

Also, I got 76% for pharmaco which is at the 50% of the whole class. I must wake up my idea.

 

LOL!

 

 

Sometimes I thought I did study for my test but.... There seems to be many mistakes in my answers. Is it that I have become less hardworking or is it because I wasn't lucky.

 

I chose the not hardworking one....

 

So, next time I will just be calm with my work and score well the next time!

 

 

I woke up in the morning and listened to my mother telling life stories from the newspaper. Guess this has became a habit of me when I happen to talk to her in the morning ^^ Anyway, she told me a story....

 

She told me that there was this person who was convicted of stealing at young age. As a result, he was sent to jail. However, he realised his mistake and decided to start anew... In fact, he acheived extremely good results for O levels and A levels during his stay that he managed to be admitted to NUS.

 

His tour in NUS was supported by his father's CPF. Due to his poor family background, he was forced to work at night shifts in a part time job, earning about $500 a month... Hoping to lighten his father's liabilities. When he graduated, he couldn't really pay for his school fees still, even after working for 2 years. Seeing the bleak situation, he knew he had to do something, else he will surely be forever in debts...

 

If you were him what would you do???

 

Anyway, in the end, he resorted to stealing again... He was successful in the 1st few attempts, stealing about $6000 from homes. However, he was caught eventually.... And now.... He is back to jail again.

 

So.... Who decides that a person's act is stupid or clever? You may think he is not very clever but if you were him, would you be equally desperate to do the same thing???? I really dont know....

 

 

It seems like luck wasn't on my side for this entire week. I think nobody noticed it since I always look so happy. But well, this is still what I will potray because.... really...... nobody cares about you when you are sad. At least when you look cheerful, you get more by learning.

 

Our life is full of ups and downs. So, I will always hope for and "up" next week.

 

Well, all I can say is that one has to be responsible for their own decisions..... Just learn from your mistakes =)

It has been some time since I really started writing and so today, I manage to squeeze out some time to remind myself what to do for the "near future"

 

When I glance back, it seems like I have been so busy but yet... when I really come to think of it, I realise I haven't been spending a lot of time studying >< Guess I will can really start on next week -.-"

 

But when I look forward, I realise I have so many things to cope. Since this is my blog, I shall just list them down to remind myself what I need to accomplish:

 

1) Dota competition (Finals)

2) NUS Lecture (12 Sep 2006). Requires

3) Tuition assignments

4) Buying birthday gift for someone

5) Life sciences career talk

6) Microbiology lab assignment

7) Paper report on my GEM module

 

Guess thats all... Haha... Not really a lot huh?
